Yoga Breathing June 5, 2098

Prana means life. Prana (that is in Sanskrit) is breath. We are born, we take the first breath and We are alive. We take the last breath just before we die.
Breath is life. Improving breathing increases the quality of our life. Breathing is a function of the muscles that are involved in the process of inhalation and exhalation. All muscles can be strengthened by doing proper yoga exercises. And so can the muscles that are involved in the process of our breathing. Stronger muscles means more efficient breathing. Better breathing. More oxygen in the blood. More energy. More energy for all things we do; thinking, walking, talking ... and including fighting disease.

What kind of breathing exercises improves our breathing?
More later.

Simply Yoga

This blog is about Yoga. We will try to remove all myths. It is a science and science is not based on myths.
Science is not based on language either. It started in the Sanskrit language long long ago. But then science started in the greek language ... but science is beyond the ancient Greek. So is Yog Its language is not Sanskrit. It is a science and science is independent of language. And so is maths. Does it make sense?

Yoga beyond language. It is a science. We may use words from Sanskrit but only if they express better what we want to say. Aqua is water. But we rarely use the word.

I have learnt Sanskrit for many many years. But we are not going to use Sanskrit in our discussion. It is irrelevant.

Goal of Yoga is take us starting from physical yoga, the exercises, to nirvana. There are many steps in between. And lots of practice. Nothing too difficult.  The steps:

  • Yoga breathing
  • Yoga asanas
  • Yoga food
  • Yoga thinking
  • Yoga meditation
  • Nirvana
Simply questions to be raised and discussed. It is simple. It is logical. It is the way for us all. Sharing what I know .. it is science. Pure observations from one who started with maths and physics. And there are no differences. Yoga as science. Science which improves our life ... for all ages, for all types of bodies. Lets start the dialogue.
